Making legal content scroll-worthy without dumbing it down.

A Singapore-based law firm needed social content that made their expertise visible to a broader audience but in a tone that felt modern and approachable, not stiff or generic.

The challenge was translating formal legal topics into social-friendly content without losing the credibility that a law firm needs. Reels needed to feel engaging but authoritative. Posts needed to simplify complex topics without oversimplifying them.

My role was to design social graphics and reels that bridged that gap professional enough for the industry, engaging enough for the platform.

Professional, modern, and platform-native.

The visual direction balanced two competing needs: the authority expected of a legal brand and the approachability needed on social media. Dark, muted tones with clean typography communicated professionalism. Modern layouts and motion kept the content from feeling corporate or dry.

Reels were designed with clear text overlays, tight pacing, and topic-focused hooks. Static posts used structured layouts with strong headlines and clean information hierarchy making legal tips scannable at scroll speed.

Selected deliverables from this project.

Reels, graphics, and a content system for legal social media.

  • Reels short-form video with text overlays, pacing, and topic hooks
  • Social graphics legal tip cards, know-your-rights posts, FAQ visuals
  • Instagram posts feed-optimized content with structured layouts
  • Story content polls, Q&A prompts, and swipe-through educational slides
  • Content templates reusable formats for recurring legal content themes
  • Carousel posts multi-slide explainers for legal processes and rights

Legal content that people actually stopped to read.

The social content gave the law firm a presence that felt modern and accessible without sacrificing authority. Legal topics that would normally get scrolled past were now designed to catch attention structured for the platform, not just repurposed from the website.

Key takeaway: Professional industries don't need to look boring on social media. The constraint of maintaining credibility actually makes the design challenge more interesting and the results more distinctive.
