An official email from me about this portfolio or my services should come from an @aleanadeleon.com address. Similar spellings, added words, free email accounts, and unfamiliar domains should be treated with caution.
Warning signs
Be careful if someone claiming to be me:
- promises guaranteed income, employment, clients, investment returns, or instant results;
- asks you to pay a recruitment, interview, application, training, or equipment-release fee;
- asks for gift cards, cryptocurrency, passwords, one-time codes, or remote access to your device;
- pressures you to act immediately or keep the conversation secret;
- asks you to transfer or receive money for another person;
- sends unexpected attachments, shortened links, or payment instructions;
- refuses to communicate through an official @aleanadeleon.com email address; or
- uses a profile with little history, inconsistent details, copied content, or a suspicious username.
I will never ask for your password or authentication code. I will never require a candidate to pay to apply or be interviewed. Any legitimate service fee will be documented in an agreed proposal or invoice and sent through a verified channel.
If you receive a suspicious message
Do not send money or personal documents. Do not click unfamiliar links. Take screenshots, preserve the sender's details, and contact hello@aleanadeleon.com using a fresh email thread. I will confirm whether the message is genuine.
If you already shared financial information, credentials, or money, immediately contact the relevant bank or platform, change affected passwords, enable multi-factor authentication, and report the incident to the appropriate authorities.
